Star Tribune Interview: Visible Mending

It was a HUGE honor to sit with Erica Pearson from the Star Tribune and chat about one of my favorite things: visible mending. 

Let's be clear: there is nothing new about what I am teaching folks in these classes. This craft has existed for centuries is a task largely assigned to women and often a necessity of poverty.  As is the case with many art practices, there are many iterations that follow it's genesis. I love the resurgence of this art form and was delighted to talk with Erica about it.
